Former President of Brazil Lula Da Silva released from prison on Health ground.

Lula Da Silva was the President from 2003-2010, his time adjudged to be one of the best the country ever produced.

Da Silva was accused of corruption allegation. He took bribe as a government official. He was prosecuted and sent to prison.

On 12 July 2017, Lula was convicted of money laundering and passive corruption, defined in Brazilian criminal law as the receipt of a bribe by a civil servant or government official. Lula was sentenced to nine years and six months in prison by judge Sérgio Moro.

He's been freed on Health ground.
